One of the most popular ways to learn about the history and unique attributes of Granbury is to take the very popular Granbury Ghost and Legends Tour. You can wrap up your history tour by checking out the smallest state park in Texas the Acton State Historic Site where the town's founder Elizabeth Crockett is buried.

Enjoy the Popular Lake

Lake Granbury was formed with the damming of the Brazos River. Since its formation, it has been a notable hotspot in Hood County. There is easy public access to the lake at City Beach Park just steps from historic Granbury Square. At the park, you can rent kayaks and paddle boards for waterside sports.
