There is good news for small business owners in Granbury, and that is that there is a new networking opportunity coming to Granbury from one of Granbury's most knowledgeable and community-driven residents.
Granbury's newest opportunity for small business
Kolton Krottinger is a Granbury resident who is a Navy veteran and has a commitment to enriching the community of Granbury. He is starting up a new group to support local Granbury business owners and entrepreneurs.
Kolton Krottinger is also a best-selling author. He deals with anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder resulting from his time of service to the country in the military. After his service, he faced homelessness and worked hard to turn his life around. He wrote a successful book entitled Anxiety Hackers and has also built a non-profit group under the name Anxiety Solutions of America. He has created a space for veterans at the Blue Branch Historic Ranch as part of his non-profit that serves as an oasis for mental health care.
Though Kolton is very successful in using his life experiences to help others who struggle with mental health, he also wants to offer his business and entrepreneurial expertise to the people of Granbury and Hood County. Kolton has experience in teaching online courses on the basics of business and marketing and has worked with hundreds of companies, including large international and national brands. These include The Dallas Cowboys, General Motors, Nestle, Hasbro, and Netflix.
In an interview with local news outlet, Hood County News, Kolton shared that he wants to share his business knowledge free of charge through a free community that allows local entrepreneurs to work together and grow by learning from one another. He plans for the group to be open to anyone with a small business no matter how big or small. The idea was launched in a Facebook group and received responses from over 200 small business owners in less than 48 hours.
The Purpose of This New Group
Kolton has plans to teach local small business leaders how to get more customers and foster repeat business. He hopes to start with monthly meetings and newsletters in addition to having various business experts speak.
Where the Group Will Meet
Kolton is currently building a 4,000-square-foot building to house the Hood County Entrepreneurs Group. The building has plans for a full event venue, recording studio, offices, and more. This building will be located at the Blue Branch Historic Ranch.
Kolton hopes that he can offer his experience along with other seasoned business professionals and bring the business leaders of Hood County together to help everyone grow and succeed in their personal business ventures.
