Originally from Louisiana, Mike now considers himself a Texan after living here for more than 28 years. In 1991, his wife, Pam, and he, and their 2 children moved to Ft. Worth for Mike to further his education, receiving his Masters and Doctorate from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. During that time, he pastored a church for 17 years. Pam and Mike left Ft. Worth to serve overseas with the International Mission Board in Serbia for a year and a half upon his retirement from Normandale Baptist Church .

After returning to the states, Mike had the privilege of joining the Knieper Team to work alongside his sister, Knieper Realty’s owner and broker, Pam Knieper. With experience in selling and remodeling homes and rental property, combined with his people skills of many years in ministry, the real estate business has been a perfect fit for Mike. He enjoys working closely with his clients as their buyer’s agent with the goal of finding them their perfect home.
