History of Abe's Landing
As the story goes, Abe's Landing was a homestead house, which actually still remains in the subdivision. It's told that Abe would ferry people across the river. Today, it's one of the finest subdivisions in Granbury Texas.
Life at Abe's Landing
Abe's Landing is located just off of Highway 51 or the Weatherford Highway. Its entrance is across the street from the Chaparral community. This enclave of about 200 homesites and the condominiums, were primarily built around 2010 to 2015. This unique, gated subdivision offers kid-friendly streets, gated and secure entrance, and it's close to top-rated schools.
Abe's Landing Real Estate
Most of the homes and properties in Abe's Landing are single-family properties with mature landscaping and larger lots. Home prices range from about $250,000 up to $1 million for the larger Bell Air Estates Addition in Abe's Landing. Lots range from zero lot lines to up to 1/2 an acre and the Bel Air Estates feature lots up to 4 acres. The average home price is about $350,000.
Most homes are between 1500 ft.² and 4200 ft.² with 3 to 6 bedrooms, 2 to 4 bathrooms, and open floor plan concepts in both single and two-story designs. However, there are primarily single-story homes in Abe's Landing. Waterfront homes are available with a boat slip and dock for several properties. Most homes have either a two or three-car garage.

Abe's Landing also has a collection of high-end condominiums. These condominiums were built around 2007 and offer a gated, townhouse/condo community lifestyle. Each townhouse/condo comes with lake views, a boat slip and lift, and a two-car attached garage, as well as easy access to the community, swimming pool, and clubhouse.
HOA
Abe's Landing subdivision offers a variety of amenities and perks simply for being part of the community. It offers a community clubhouse with a beautiful swimming pool, community kitchen, fireplace, playground, and covered patio. The community has a freshwater runoff pond, with a few homes surrounding this lake in the middle of the subdivision.
Homeowner association fees are approximately $80 per month, which covers all common area maintenance, amenities, and access to the facilities. Dues are required annually ($950). Please check with current listings and these HOA fees can change.
Abe's Landing Schools
Residents of Abe's Landing are part of the Granbury Independent school district and are assigned to the Nettie Bacchus elementary school, the Brawner intermediate school, the Granbury middle school, and the Granbury high school. These schools are about 123 miles from the entrance to Abe's Landing.
